Chocolate truffles have a decadent reputation, with good reason. For one, they are chocolate. The other main ingredient is heavy cream. Surprised? Here&#8217;s how you make them at home, for birthday presents, dinner parties, or cuz, you know, its Wednesday!     </p>
<p>Chocolate Truffles
For the ganache middle:
 1 lb good quality bittersweet chocolate
1 cup heavy cream
2 T light corn syrup
2 T butter, softened
2 T brandy, cognac, rum, cointreau, or other liquor to your taste </p>
